कक्षा १२ को वार्षिक परीक्षा आजबाट सुरु भएको छ । यस वर्ष ५६ हजारभन्दा बढी विद्यार्थी ग्रेड वृद्धिका लागि परीक्षामा सामेल भएका छन् । यसका लागि एक हजार चार सय ५३ परीक्षा केन्द्र तोकिएका छन् भने परीक्षा आउँदो जेठ ५ गतेसम्म सञ्चलन हुनेछ ।
बिहान ८ बजेबाट सुरु भएको परीक्षा दिउँसो १२ बजेसम्म सञ्चालन हुने राष्ट्रिय परीक्षा बोर्डले जनाएको छ । बोर्डका परीक्षा नियन्त्रक कृष्णप्रसाद शर्माका अनुसार कक्षा १२ को वार्षिक परीक्षाका लागि सुरक्षाकर्मी, केन्द्राध्यक्ष, सहायक केन्द्राध्यक्ष, निरीक्षक, सहायक निरीक्षक, सहयोगी र अन्य कर्मचारीसमेत गरी कुल ५० हजार जनशक्ति परिचालन भएका छन् ।
आजबाट सुरु भएको परीक्षामा गत वर्ष तीन विषयमा एनजी आएका करिब ५६ हजार विद्यार्थीले परीक्षा दिने भएका छन् ।
यसभन्दा अघि दुई वा दुईभन्दा कम विषयमा मात्र एनजी आउँदा ती विषयमा सोही वर्षमात्रै ग्रेडवृद्धि परीक्षा दिन पाउने र दुईभन्दा बढी विषयमा एनजी ल्याएको अवस्थामा अर्को वर्ष सबै विषयको परीक्षा दिनुपर्ने बाध्यात्मक व्यवस्था थियो ।
परीक्षाका लागि कुल चार लाख ६७ हजार तीन सय ८९ विद्यार्थीले फारम भरेको बोर्डले जनाएको छ ।
यसअघि तीन वा सोभन्दा बढी विषयमा नन ग्रेडेड अर्थात् एनजी ल्याएका विद्यार्थीले यो वर्ष पूरै विषयको परीक्षा दिनुपर्ने भन्ने थियो । शिक्षा, विज्ञान तथा प्रविधि मन्त्रालयले लेटर ग्रेडिङ निर्देशिका, २०७८ संशोधन गरेको थियो ।
त्योसँगै परीक्षाका लागि छवटै विषयको फारम भरे पनि जति विषयमा एनजी आएको छ त्यत्तिकै विषयको मात्र परीक्षा दिनुपर्ने भएको हो ।
बोर्डको प्रस्तावमा मन्त्रीस्तरीय निर्णयबाट लेटर ग्रेडिङ निर्देशिका, २०७८ लाई संशोधन गर्ने निर्णय गरेको थियो । दुई विषयभन्दा बढी जतिसुकै विषयमा ‘नन ग्रेडेड’ प्राप्त गरेका छन् ती विषयको मात्र ग्रेड वृद्धिको परीक्षा दिनुपर्नेछ ।
यसअघि छवटै विषयमा फारम भरे पनि जति विषयमा एनजी आएको छ त्यत्तिकै परीक्षा दिनुपर्ने बोर्डका अध्यक्ष डा.महाश्रम शर्माले जानकारी दिए ।
उनका अनुसार परीक्षा फारम भर्दा छवटै विषय भरे पनि जुन विषयमा एनजी आएको छ ती विषयको मात्र परीक्षा दिनुपर्नेछ ।
यसअघि गत वर्षदेखि लागू भएको लेटर ग्रेडिङ सिस्टमअनुसार दुईभन्दा बढी विषयमा एनजी ल्याएका विद्यार्थीले पूरै विषयको परीक्षा दिनुपर्ने भन्ने थियो । तर गत वर्ष लिइएको ग्रेड वृद्धि परीक्षामा समेत सफल हुन नसकेपछि ५६ हजार विद्यार्थीले यो वर्ष हुने परीक्षामा सबै विषयको परीक्षा दिनुपर्ने भएको थियो ।
यस्तो हुँदा ड्रपआउट हुने सम्भावना बढेपछि बोर्डको प्रस्तावमा शिक्षामन्त्री अशोककुमार राईले निर्देशिका संशोधन गर्नुभएको हो ।
